These Terms govern your access to and use of MealPlanList, including the website, account features, meal planner, recipe and ingredient libraries, shopping lists, public shopping links, checkout, and related services.
MealPlanList is a practical weekly meal planner and grocery list app. It supports configurable weekly meal planning, recipe and ingredient libraries, inventory recommendations, saved-week history, shopping status, recovery backups, and public shopping links.
The service does not provide AI meal generation, nutrition advice, diet or medical guidance, calorie or macro tracking, supermarket price comparison, automatic grocery totals, grocery cart import, or public recipe publishing.
You do not need an account to use the local planner. Plus is required for cloud sync, daily Automatic Cloud Backup, multi-device use, and Live Shopping Links. Signed-in Free users still receive server and current-browser recovery backups before destructive overwrite operations. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to use the service only in a lawful and responsible manner.
You retain responsibility for meal plans, recipes, ingredients, prep notes, stock counts, shopping-list items, and other content you enter into MealPlanList.
You grant MealPlanList permission to store, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate the service, including showing it in your account and in public shopping links you create.
Snapshot links contain a fixed copy of the selected shopping list in the URL fragment. When a Plus user creates a Live Shopping Link, anyone with the valid active link can view that list and update To Buy, Buy Later, or Purchased status. Live-link visitors cannot edit recipes, the weekly plan, account settings, billing, or other private account data.
You are responsible for deciding who receives a public shopping link. Live links expire after 14 days and may be refreshed, closed, or replaced where the product provides that control.
MealPlanList offers Free access and an optional Plus subscription billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. The price, currency, billing interval, and any applicable tax shown in Stripe Checkout apply to that purchase.
Plus access is activated only after MealPlanList receives and records verified payment status from Stripe. A return from Checkout by itself does not activate Plus. Payment failure, a refund, a lost dispute, or the end of a cancelled subscription can return the account to Free limits. Planner and cloud data are retained when Plus access ends, subject to this agreement and the Privacy Policy.
You can manage or schedule cancellation of a subscription through the Stripe billing portal available from Billing. When Stripe schedules cancellation for the end of the current paid period, Plus remains available until that period ends. Refund availability and timing are subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, upload or transmit malicious code, abuse public shopping links, or use MealPlanList in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
MealPlanList is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, pause, or be removed over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
MealPlanList is an organization tool. It does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own food, health, budget, and shopping decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MealPlanList is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
We may update these Terms when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. Continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
