- More Flexible Recipe Filters: Find recipes containing any of your selected Items, add a general keyword such as “chicken,” or select all matching search results at once. Turn on Include Serve With to also match side suggestions.
- Clearer Recipe Import Review: The paste import layout and batch review controls make it easier to move between recipes and review their details before saving.
- Full Item Editing During Import: When adding a new Item while reviewing an imported recipe, use the full Item editor to set its list, units, stock, and shopping details.
- Recipe Import Format Checks: The AI Prompt Helper now requests plain text in the expected recipe format. Invalid formatted input shows a format error instead of an empty Untitled Recipe, so you can correct it before importing.
- Easier Recipe Formatting: The AI Prompt Helper now includes your existing Item names and recipe units. Copy the prompt into your AI assistant to review ingredient matches, quantities, and cooking details before formatting your recipes for import. Single-recipe and batch examples also have copy buttons.
- Copy Your Items: Use Copy Items in Item Lists settings to copy names and recipe units from all active lists for use in your own recipe prompts.
- Recipe Matching Across Lists: Recipe imports now match ingredients against all active Item Lists, including custom lists. Archived lists are excluded, and ingredient choices show their list names during review.
- Clearer Recipe Timing: Recipe time fields and filters now say Total time. Formatted recipe imports accept Total time so you can record the full time until a dish is ready to serve.
- Keep Recipe Steps Intact: Formatted recipe imports now preserve multiline notes, keeping numbered cooking steps and source links on separate lines.
- Frequently Bought in the Right Week: Adding Frequently Bought items now follows your selected shopping week, including Next Week. In the combined view, items are added once to This Week, or to Next Week if This Week has been archived.
- Buy Later Reminders: Add both To Buy and Buy Later items to Apple Reminders. Buy Later items with a planned use date remind you two days before their earliest use at 9 AM. Items without a planned use date stay undated. Choose a list for To Buy and one for Buy Later; after export, your selected To Buy list opens.
- Shopping Shortcut Updates: Shopping now shows an update notice when you need the latest Shortcut for Buy Later reminders. Download it, replace your existing Shopping Reminders, and confirm installation once. Your browser remembers the confirmed version.
- Simpler Calendar & Reminders Setup: Clearer installation instructions, with your installation confirmation remembered in the current browser so you do not need to check it again each time.
- Cleaner Export Preview: Calendar and prep reminders show relative timing such as “1 day before” or “2 days before,” without dates or clock times. Expand notes with the arrow in the top-right corner. Combined calendar titles use a simpler format such as “Mon: Chicken / Pasta.”
